Our Organization

Legal Framework: Friends of Matenwa was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in March, 2010. We received our qualification as a non-profit with Public Charity Status under Section 501 [c] (3) of the Internal Revenue Code in January, 2011. Our EIN is: 27-2898086.

Our People: Most of Friends of Matènwa’s work is accomplished by hard working volunteers, so that we can conserve each donor dollar for important work in Haiti.

For nine consecutive years, Beyond Borders has earned the top Four Star Charity rating by Charity Navigator for sound financial practices and transparent financial reporting.
